Twenty-six years of putting everyone else first.

School runs, sporting events, cleaning, dinners — whatever a mother of three needed to do. Georgia had always had the flair; friends called her to help them redecorate. What she had was a creative spark and a half-finished associate's degree, and after twenty-six years at home she says she'd lost even that.

What she was after

Something that was hers — and proof she was worth it.

The hardest part wasn't the work. It was going to her husband, after twenty-six years of contributing nothing financially, and asking him to pay for a program she couldn't promise would ever pay them back. Seeing another mother her own age do it was what made the conversation possible.
